The next CVM Quarterly Meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 14th from 9:00 am-5:00 pm.  A WebEx link will be available for all sessions.   

The ADS General Session will take place the next morning, August 15th from 8:30 am- 11:30 am  The general session is an in-person ADS Steering Committee meeting. A webinar link is available.  For convenience, those participating in the General Session can register for the meeting through the same link.  The agenda for this meeting will be sent to all registered attendees at least one week prior to the event.  

In-person participants using foreign IDs and Green Card holders are required to get clearance in advance of entering FDA buildings.Please complete the foreign visitor form found in the July 22 AHI invitation email and email it to Rachel Cumberbatch ( and Marcia Sheets (Marcia.Sheets@fda.hhs.govby August 2nd. 




Below is a tentative agenda of topics for discussion at the CVM Quarterly Meeting on August 14, 2019.   Please see attached for more details.  The general meeting will run from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm EDT.   CVM has requested additional time to approve the agenda.  This means changes are possible.  Nevertheless, the agenda below provides you an outline as the agenda currently stands. 

Draft Agenda

8:30 am -9:00 am        Arrival & Security Clearance

9:00 am – 9:30 am      CVM Leadership Updates (30 minutes)

9:30 am – 11:00 am    Data Quality Session (1.5 hours with one break)

11:00 am – 11:15 am  Break (15 min)

11:00 am – 1:00 pm    Manufacturing (2 hours with one break)

1:00 pm – 2:00 pm      Lunch (1 hour)

2: 00 pm – 2:30 pm     Heartworm Efficiency Effort (30 min)

2:30 pm – 4:00 pm      Residue (1.5 hours with time a break during session)

4:30 pm – 6:30 pm      Antibiotic OTC to Rx (2 hours) – This is a closed door meeting.  Attendees will include representatives from AHI and GADA member companies 

                                    with  approvals affected by the antimicrobial OTC to Rx transition.
